Once you’ve decided what online images or other files you want to mobilise, go onto the chosen website and grab the file you want to mobilise. On some sites you will see a button near the website’s media assets saying “Mobilise this!”. The button will include a hidden string in the image link that tells the Me-Mo service of the location of the online media; once the URL link is clicked the mobile handset’s UA is taken and an SMS and Premium SMS is sent through an aggregator*. The selected media is taken from file store and transcoded through the Me-Mo platform once the WAP push link is activated and the resulting media is streamlined to the recipient’s handset. *(Networking charges may apply).
